Hurst’s Hip Hop Ballet Birthday Bash

Hurst’s mom, Holly, reached out to me to create a one-of-a-kind invitation for this one-of-a-kind event. Hurst loves ballet and hip hop and wanted to combine the two into an ultra-fun birthday bash. The kids listened to hip hop beats and had fun gracefully dancing to the music.

Holly had ideas for the party and they included balloons in a variety of colors, purple converse, ballet shoes, pink tutus and (of course) a boombox! I added touches of graffiti art. What we came up with was girly, fun and screamed hip-hop ballet.

The party would not be complete without the other vendors and special contributors. Holly’s mom is an artist in Augusta, Georgia. She created the beautiful painting of Hurst in her purple ballet leotard and shoes. The cake was an exact replica of the invitations and the balloons arch was a perfect backdrop for the whole event. The converse and ballet shoe cookies were a perfect added touch for party favors. The whole party was adorable. Thanks Holly for including me in your vision.

Happy 4th birthday, Hurst!

xoxo - Megan

the twins turned Three!

Chapman and Leela Mae turned three last October. As you can see I am very late to blogging game. Only about a year off. The twins LOVE Mickey and the Roaster Racers and we thought it would be fitting to celebrate at Tiny Towne in Norcross. Perfect venue for a boy who loves cars and a girl who loves her friends and games. All of the attendees also wore their favorite Mickey Mouse gear! What a fun day!
